EXCELLENTVerified Jayne’s house was perfect for our family! She puts so much attention and love into her home and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay there. The house is beautiful, very clean and we loved our time in Cambria.Verified Very cute little place in a great location. Enjoyed spending time with family. Every room was comfortable and it has a great sunset view from the upstairs. It was the perfect size for our family of four.Verified Great place, great host, fantastic views. We packed seven people, with permission, and three small dogs into this home and it worked well. With that many it is tight but workable. The pics are very accurate for the home but the yard is so much better than the pics (which are already impressive). It is enclosed fully if you have a medium to large dog. Our small (8-15 lbs) dogs could have gotten thru a few place but it wasn’t a problem. Loved:*Owner was wonderful. Communicative, clear, responsive and generous.*beds and furniture was comfy with lots of blankets.*bed linens were so nice!! If there’s a 1000 thread count this was it ;)*the yard is huge with many seating nooks, fire pit.*not just dog friendly..dog WELCOMING. From dog beds, to a linen couch cover, to bowls just for them, and the huge yard being pretty well enclosed, our pups had a vacation to bark about.*Best stocked kitchen with pantry items and utensils, free coffee and more.Verified Wow, what an enchanting time I had in Cambria at Bessie's Cabin! The neighborhood was adorable and the house was close to the preserve, beach access and local parks. I could hear the ocean and see it from the upstairs room. The house was comfortable and there is not one thing that Jayne didn't provide to make everyone comfortable, especially our 2 dogs. My sister made a point to make sure that I let everyone know how well appointed the kitchen is with everything you could possibly need with the best knives available. I wish that we had more time to explore Cambria and more cozy nights here, but I would (and will!) absolutely book with Jayne again. (Did I mention how kind she is, and how fast she is at responding to my questions prior to booking?)Verified Our stay at Jayne’s place was great. The location was perfect for our needs - close to trails by the ocean, and not far from town or Hearst Castle. For context we were all adults, celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday, with our 15 year old cat Lily as well. The place is extremely quiet, and I would recommend it for adult families/friend groups, especially with fur babies.We found the bedrooms to be comfortable, although the master bedroom was tight on walking space due to our kitty’s litter box and her portable steps. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it great for cooking. The Traeger grill was excellent. We felt at home here and would stay here again - my mom didn’t want to leave.Bessie’s Cabin is extremely clean, and the furniture was comfortable. Jayne was very responsive, which made us feel welcome.Thanks again for a wonderful stay. My mom said it was the best birthday ever!Verified Great location; peaceful, quiet, and safe. Walkability to Fiscalini Preserve trails and local beach is very easy. Quick drive to downtown restaurants and shops.Property was very comfortable and well appointed.The outdoor area in the back was very close to the neighboring house behind and neighbors have full view of the yard from their windows and patio, so guests should be aware of this. The second rental unit on the property had a much more private outdoor space.Verified Jayne’s cabin is magical + the location is so stunning! We were thoroughly happy throughout our stay.
